Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Refresher Course

4 hours | £150 per person

To retain their certification as Mental Health First Aiders, participants are required to complete the MHFA Refresher Course every three years. This four hour session provides the opportunity to revisit key skills, refresh confidence, and stay up to date with best practice in mental health support.

Delivered in the We Are Hummingbird style, clear, practical and human, the refresher helps Mental Health First Aiders reconnect with their role and remember why it matters. It reinforces the core principles of Mental Health First Aid while updating knowledge around mental health, support pathways and current guidance.

On completion of the course, participants are invited to continue their membership with the Association of Mental Health First Aiders. This ensures they retain access to ongoing resources, support and guidance, helping them feel confident and supported in their role.
