WAHBH focus on three pillars in order to educate, develop and support our Mental Health First Aiders.
1. Delivery of MHFA, this can consist of 2 day, one day or half day courses.
2. 6 month follow up option
This allows those trained the chance to take their initial learnings back into the workplace, have an opportunity to embed them before coming back together with their training cohort to refresh their learnings and ask any questions.
3. On completion of training each delegate will receive their membership number to the unique accredited community area.
This is where they can discuss and share best practice with each other in a safe and secure environment.
The benefit of this is not just that these individuals can escape any risk of carrying the responsibility of their position alone but they can learn from other sectors and industries and improve best practice.
